Conservatives have always struggled to understand the fact that rights apply to people other than themselves. The cries about "academic censorship" ring out loud and clear whenever a right-wing professor gets so much as a bad word in the press, yet when left-wing academics are outright fired for ideological reasons (such as what happened to Lisa Durden and John Summa), the silence from the free-speech brigade becomes deafening!
