If your best defense for Israeli apartheid is a massacre which occured two decades prior to the foundation of the State of Israel (and forty years prior to the occupation), then I think my point has been made for me. Israel is (to quote Israel Shahak) “a racist state,” in which “people are discriminated against, in the most permanent and legal way and in the most important areas of life, only because of their origin.” If you can support such a thing, then that’s on you.
